Khwopa is the Newa name for Bhaktapur — the walled city of brick, wood and drums the band is named after. Their live set carries those instruments straight into a modern rock line-up.

Nepal Bhasa is the language of the Kathmandu Valley — the language Khwopa is named in. Six words is all it takes to say hello properly on the night. Turn a card to hear how it sounds.

Nepal Bhasa has no single standard romanization, so you will see these spelled a few different ways. Say them anyway — nobody at this show will mind.
